         30 years ago, Persimmon Creek Barn was started by longtime Virginia residents Rick and Nina. After purchasing this overgrown but beautiful 30 acres and rustic barn and moving from Richmond with two toddlers in tow to follow a dream of living the country life. Soon after settling in, we started a business catering upscale weddings and events at many regional venues. This set a plan in place for building our dream event space. The farm and venue are operated by Rick and Nina along with their son Austin. All three along with many friends, and family have spent countless hours on the construction of the event barn venue and out buildings. 

         The property is a beautiful peaceful place, awe-inspiring, 3400 sqft climate controlled timber framed event barn, with a suite and cottage, it is the perfect setting for your rustic elegant wedding day.

          Persimmon Creek Barn is an active farm, initially growing hops, and  transitioning to cultivating lavender. Plans are to increase farm production and products in the coming growing seasons.
